QPR FC - We'll Be There

'We’ll Be There' is a film built around the idea that, in football, the one constant is the supporter. The project focused on capturing the lived relationship between fan and club at QPR FC, using real voices rather than constructed narratives.

The film was shot across multiple days and built from unscripted interviews with a wide cross-section of QPR supporters, spanning age, background, and geography. My role was to shape that material into a single, collective expression, allowing individual experiences to sit alongside one another without being forced into a promotional framework.

I directed the film and oversaw the entire creative process, including edit and colour grade. The approach was intentionally restrained: minimal structure, natural performances, and a visual language that prioritised intimacy over spectacle. Filming took place in and around Loftus Road, treating the stadium and its surroundings as everyday spaces rather than symbols.

The voiceover, delivered by a real supporter, functions as the film’s emotional anchor. Rather than pointing toward future outcomes, it articulates a simple statement of presence and loyalty.

The film supported QPR’s 2025–26 season ticket campaign, contributing to the club’s highest Loyalty Window sales figure in a decade. Season tickets subsequently sold out, leading to the introduction of a waiting list for the first time since QPR were last in the Premier League. The film also generated over 275,000 organic views across digital platforms.
